Bayside Event Center was acquired by Ralph, Connie, and Michael Marquez in 2022 and thoughtfully reimagined into a distinctive, multi-purpose waterfront destination. Since 2023, Bayside has been recognized as Galveston’s #1 Wedding Venue, reflecting its commitment to exceptional experiences and elevated hosting.

Located over the water in Offatt’s Bayou, Bayside Event Center offers a setting defined by open skies, scenic views, and a sense of calm that feels both expansive and intimate. Designed to host weddings, celebrations, meetings, and private gatherings, the venue features three beautifully composed spaces: a refined grand ballroom, a covered bar and gathering deck, and an open-air waterfront deck ideal for ceremonies and viewing.

In addition to the venue, Bayside offers private on-site lodging that allows guests to extend their experience beyond the event. The 3,800-square-foot lodge comfortably accommodates up to 20 overnight guests and features spacious living areas, well-appointed bedrooms, a game room, a chef’s kitchen, and a master bath with a steam room. A private outdoor lounge deck provides a front-row view for both sunrise and sunset.

Bayside is also home to Out Cast Fishin Charters, a Galveston.com Best of the Island award winner consistently recognized since 2016. Known for exceptional service and experienced captains, the charter offers on-site fishing experiences rooted in a shared passion for the water, the outdoors, and creating lasting memories.

The Marquez family and their team are dedicated to ensuring every guest experience at Bayside is seamless, personal, and memorable. From customized event planning to attentive hospitality, their focus remains on delivering thoughtful service and exceeding expectations at every turn.
